Welcome to Healing with Heart. My name is Genoa Hartmann, and I am dedicated to providing compassionate and effective counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. I hold a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University, which I earned in 2023. Additionally, I completed my undergraduate studies with a certification in Military Resilience, equipping me with unique insights and skills to support military families.
I specialize in working with military families, leveraging my background and specialized training to address their unique challenges. I have also received Level One training in the Gottman Method, a research-based approach to relationships, as well as specific training in dealing with infidelity and trauma through the Gottman Institute. This expertise allows me to offer targeted support for couples navigating these difficult issues.
As a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and the Wisconsin Counseling Association (WCA), I stay current with the latest research and best practices in the field. My practice is inclusive, and I have experience working with individuals from diverse demographics, as well as a wide range of couples and family dynamics.
At Healing with Heart , my goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their concerns, build resilience, and develop healthier relationships. Whether you are facing personal challenges, relationship difficulties, or family issues, I am here to help you navigate these experiences with empathy and professionalism. Currently, I am under the supervision of Dr. Amanda Falkers Ed.D., LPC, SAC, ACS, ensuring that my practice is guided by experienced oversight and adhering to the highest standards of professional care.
I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support your journey towards greater well-being and connection.
